Two photographers in Russia (Illya Nodia and Irina Muravyova) were asked to take pictures of a senior care company's residents from around Moscow. They asked them to smile, and then took beautiful portraits. These are the results; good luck looking at these beaming seniors without smiling too. Some things, they are just contagious, timeless and universal. Joyful seniors are on that list of things.
Every year, we do our part at CaraVita to bring awareness to national Go Red day; the one day we put on pink boas, take silly pictures as a team, and (for-real-though) all band together wearing red to kick off Heart Health month. The goal? Raise awareness for the importance of heart health. This month, we hope you support the great initiatives of Go Red For Women, and raise awareness for a great cause.

As students begin the annual back-to-school traditions of August, one group of students is perhaps underserved in the tradition: the student caregiver. It can be a challenge combining a busy school schedule with a caregiving job (whether that is for a family member or as a professional). Finding the time in such a whirlwind to complete homework, balance class and work schedules and fulfill the needs of your senior, but there are a few tips to help you stay on top.
