Christopher Nweze Congratulations to Christopher Nweze, our August Caregiver of the Month! Christopher, originally from Nigeria, has a strong passion for caring for others. His lovely wife is a nurse, and he started caregiving while getting his Master’s degree in Business Systems Integration in the United Kingdom. Christopher has always shared a passion for helping others, he even remembers helping others as a young child:

“When I was four or five years old, I was playing with a group of friends in my village, and an old lady came up and asked us if we could help her get some water. All the other kids ignored her, but I ran to my house to get her a glass of water. The old woman blessed me for helping her, and it was the first time I realized how much joy it brings to help others. If I don't have what they need, I can reach for it. I enjoy sacrificing my time and energy so that others can get the help they need.”

Christopher has been working with CaraVita Home Care since August 2017. His favorite thing about working here is the excellent community of employees. He believes, “the way that they relate to their staff is something I cherish.” His clients appreciate his work as well.

Chris knew how much my dad loved his music therapy, and he jumped at the opportunity to make this possible for him. He brought his boombox from home and found the songs my dad likes so that he could dance with my dad. He really goes above and beyond and takes ownership of my dad’s care. He knows how to best work with him, my dad feels comfortable with him and trusts him.”
